2021 Summer Bowling Leagues in Richmond
Summer of 2020 was basically cancelled due to COVID-19, but now that vaccines are widely available, people are ready to make up for lost time. Most of us won’t be taking social time with our friends or family for granted any time soon, because now we realize how precious it is—especially in person. Make 2021 the best one yet by prioritizing your social life and joining a bowling league. Check out our summer bowling leagues below, or contact us to learn how to start your own league.
Family Bowling League
Our Family Bowling League, also known as Adult-Youth Flex League, is the perfect option for busy families. This league is extremely flexible, allowing you to pick the time and day each week that works best for you. All you need for a team is one adult and one child. The league season lasts from Monday, May 3rd to Sunday, July 24th, and you can bowl whenever lanes are available. $20 per team per week includes 2 games of No-Tap Scoring each week. Upon completion of the league season, each team gets to choose a youth bowling ball and bag OR two passes to King’s Island.
No-Tap Singles Fun League
Join our Singles Fun League if you’re looking for a fun, laid-back bowling league. This league meets every Monday at 6 pm for 12 weeks and allows you to bowl 3 games of 9 pin No-Tap bowling per week. Handicap is 90% of 200.
The weekly cost is just $12 per person, and any bowlers who shoot 300 during the duration of the league will get a $10 gift card to use at Richmond 40 Bowl. Prize money is paid out by points.
Senior Bowling League
Our Senior Social bowling league runs for 12 weeks and meets Mondays at 1 pm. Teams are 2 people and anyone over the age of 50 years is welcome. The cost is just $8 per person per week, and on the last week, all league members are invited to a free lunch at Golden Corral. This is a great league for those who want to meet other active adults and have a good time!
Youth Singles League
For 12 weeks on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, youth bowlers are invited to participate in this bowling league and compete for scholarship money! Turn your bowling skills into money for your education and have fun doing it. For $10 per person per week, you can bowl 3 games per week on the house pattern. The handicap is 80% of 200 and the league is USBC Sanctioned.
Crazy 8’s League
Tuesdays at 6:30 pm, this 8 week friendly bowling league costs just $8 per person per week. Bowl 3 games of 8 pin no-tap per week with your 4-person team. If all of your teammates get a strike in the 8th frame, you can win a prize. For an additional $7 per week, you can also get your own bowling ball and bag.
