Richmond Farmer’s Market Harvest Festival

This fall festival is a celebration of all things local! Enjoy balloon animals, a petting zoo, wine & beer, cider slushies, and more! The Farmer’s Market has a large assortment of products from 100% certified local farmers & vendors including produce, meat, eggs, honey, baked goods, jams and jellies, candles, soaps, jewelry, fine art, crafts, and more. The Richmond Farmer’s Market Harvest Festival takes place on October 23rd at Jack Elstro Plaza from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest

Even our furry friends love to celebrate the season! Whether you’re aiming for creepy or cute, this event will be full of treats, photo opportunities, and fun! Enter to win one of three categories: Funniest, Most Creative, or Best Owner/Dog Pair. Entry is free and can be completed online ahead of the event or in person on Saturday, October 23rd.

If candy and costumes are your favorite part of spooky season, we’ve got the event for you! From 5-7 pm on Saturday, October 30th at Glen Miller Park, local organizations will take over the park and hand out candy or crafts to trick or treaters as an alternative option for families looking for a safe place to celebrate. Masks and costumes are encouraged for all guests, so start putting together your show-stopping costume now!

This quintessential autumn activity is fun for the whole family, and no one does corn mazes quite like Today’s Harvest in neighboring New Paris, OH. Their gigantic 25 acre corn maze includes over 8 miles of paths – a perfect place to spend an afternoon exploring! And if corn confusion isn’t your speed, there are tons of additional activities to enjoy, from giant chess games to an obstacle course, and even a corn cannon. Richmond 40 Bowl Halloween Cosmic Parties

No Autumn in Richmond, IN would be complete without celebrating Halloween at Richmond 40 Bowl! This year we’ve planned double the fun with TWO parties! Our family friendly event kicks off at 6:00 pm, with $35 lanes (covers 6 bowlers) and unlimited bowling, a laser-light show, and kid-friendly music! The party continues at 8:00 pm at our Late Night Fright event! Both events will feature a costume contest and a chance to spin our Prize Wheel to win FREE stuff!
