Let’s Bowl for the Boobs!

Breast cancer gets a lot of press in October, but for most people, it’s something that lays heavy on the heart every day. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women over the course of their lifetimes. Almost everyone has felt the effects of breast cancer, whether they’ve endured it themselves or supported a loved one through a diagnosis. Richmond 40 Bowl is bringing our team together to help strike out breast cancer with a day of fun, healthy competition, and raising awareness about the realities of breast cancer.

Let’s Rock and Strike Out Breast Cancer

breast cancer awareness bowlDo you want to have a great time and support the local community? You won’t want to miss our all-day event on Saturday, November 12th. We’re raising awareness (and funds) by bowling for the boobs. We have exclusive bowling events, a live benefit concert, bake sales, raffles, and a Rose Ceremony for those lost or surviving. Want to participate? Purchase a ticket and get ready to strike out breast cancer!

  1. 1st Annual Luise Lesser Memorial Tournament. Strike out breast cancer (and get a free VIP ticket to our live benefit concert) by taking part in our memorial bowling tournament. Check in at 9am, play 4 games of qualifying, and advance along the bracket until we declare the winner! The entry fee is $60, with a 1:6 prize payout.
  2. Bowl for the boobs. Love to bowl, but not enough to compete? You don’t have to strike fear into the hearts of pins everywhere to support breast cancer awareness in Richmond, IN. Bowl anytime between noon and 5pm during our Rock and Strike Out Breast Cancer Event. You’re not just supporting breast cancer research; you’re supporting the women you see every day. We’re donating 50% of all bowling proceeds to breast cancer programs, services, and research in our local Richmond community.
  3. Live benefit concert. Ready to rock? We’re inviting local bands Bounty Hunter, Blevins Brothers, and The Funkyard Dogs to play on a special stage over the lanes. Kick back and rock out to an awesome live concert, or bowl while they play! The donation minimum is $15. 100% of the concert donations will benefit breast cancer programs in Richmond.
